Senior Cybersecurity Engineer

The role involves leading proactive investigations into account takeovers, coordinated account abuse, bot activity, and emerging threats targeting account integrity. This position requires a strong background in security engineering, abuse prevention, or Trust & Safety, with a proven record of impact.

  • Develop threat detection alerts, anomaly signals, and logging strategies to enable early abuse identification.
  • Collaborate across engineering, product, and operations to shape end-to-end mitigations and recommend scalable controls.
  • Partner with analytics engineers to ensure threat metrics are reliable, visible, and segment-able across user tiers and abuse methods.
  • Drive post-incident reviews, support threat modeling for new features, and maintain knowledge bases for common and novel attack vectors.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in security engineering, abuse prevention, or Trust & Safety.
  • Ability to conduct deep-dive investigations and distill complex threat findings into clear, stakeholder-aligned insights.
  • Familiarity with product telemetry, detection signals, and the design of abuse-resilient systems.
  • Comfortable writing and reviewing code in languages such as Python, Java, or equivalent.
