This role will involve delivering digital forensics and incident response engagements to support organisations in responding to major cybersecurity incidents.
- Conduct thorough investigations into security incidents, determining root causes, impact, and mitigation strategies.
- Analyse affected systems using forensic techniques and utilise security tooling such as EDR, SIEM, XDR, and Identity technologies.
- Collect digital forensics evidence from affected systems and produce comprehensive DFIR reports.
- Support the coordination of containment, eradication, and recovery efforts.
This position requires a strong understanding of current and emerging attacker behaviours, tools, tactics, and techniques. The ideal candidate will also have experience with various security frameworks and methodologies.
Requirements- Excellent communication skills for communicating with senior stakeholders.
- Proven experience in responding to high-profile cybersecurity incidents.
- Digital forensics & incident response experience with an understanding of key system and digital forensic artifacts.
- Familiarity with DFIR tools such as EnCase, X-Ways, Magnet Axiom, Velociraptor, KAPE, and THOR.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
