Workshop Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Workshop Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our workshop team, you will be responsible for assisting tradespeople with tasks such as grinding, cutting, and preparing items for metal fabricators. You will also be required to maintain a clean and organized workshop environment, including the yard, office, and bathrooms.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a similar role and possess a strong understanding of workshop procedures and protocols. Additionally, you should have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $31.50 per hour and a range of benefits, including access to a company vehicle, tools, uniforms, and PPE.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A current and valid manual driver's license (car license)
  • A valid forklift ticket
  • Be fit and reliable
