Sheet Metal Craftsman

We are seeking a skilled craftsman to fabricate high-quality sheet metal products using various equipment and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate sheet metal equipment such as folders, press brakes, guillotines, and CNC routers to produce precise designs.
  • Read and interpret construction drawings to ensure accurate fabrication.
  • Utilize computer-aided drafting and design (CADD) programs to create detailed designs.
  • Measure and mark dimensions, lay out materials, and manufacture flashings and other sheet metal products.
  • Perform regular maintenance checks on equipment and tooling, and assist with loading/unloading deliveries.

Requirements:

  • A commitment to work, health, and safety principles and processes.
  • Able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Focused on efficiency and productivity.
  • Good hand-eye coordination.
  • Meet deadlines and demonstrate initiative.

Desirable Skills/Experience:

  • Previous experience in manufacturing.
  • Mechanical skills.
  • Welding experience.
  • Forklift license.
  • White Card.
  • Asbestos Awareness.
