Position: Metal Fabricator
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: 8-hour shift
We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret detailed engineering drawings and bring ideas to life

• Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components from stainless steel, aluminium, and mild steel

• Select, clean, and prepare metal stock for fabrication

• Cut marked-out metal sections and shapes using hand tools, flame cutting torches, and metal cutting machines

• Perform MIG (and TIG preferred) welding in all positions, ensuring high-quality welds

• Examine welds for bead width, penetration, and precision, ensuring standards are met

• Finish products by cleaning, polishing, filing, and bathing in acidic solutions

• Clean and smooth welds by filing, chiselling, and grinding

• Conduct visual inspections to identify defects

• Operate fabrication machinery and tools

• Assist with site installations as needed

• Maintain a safe, organized workshop environment
About You:

• Minimum 2 years' experience in metal fabrication (including welding)

• Strong MIG welding skills; TIG experience in aluminium and stainless steel is highly desirable

• Excellent attention to detail and quality-focused

• Confident reading and interpreting technical drawings

• Good communication and team player attitude
