Job Title: Key Clinical Partner in Advancing Orthopaedic Surgery

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our Joint Replacement team as a key clinical partner in advancing orthopaedic surgery through the application of cutting-edge robotic technology.

About the Role:

  • As a Robotic Product Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting orthopaedic surgeons in the planning and execution of robotic-assisted hip and knee replacements using a state-of-the-art system.
  • You will be the primary clinical expert for the system, providing real-time support during procedures and working closely with surgical teams to optimise patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the in-theatre expert for robotic-assisted procedures, providing technical and clinical guidance to surgeons and theatre staff.
  • Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal use of the robotic platform during joint replacement surgeries.
  • Conduct pre-operative CT-based planning and segmentation to assist in surgical case preparation.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge in orthopaedic surgical techniques, anatomy, and robotic technology.
  • Provide ongoing training and clinical support to hospital staff and surgical teams.
  • Travel across Sydney and surrounding areas to support multiple hospital sites.

Requirements:

  • Strong clinical background and passion for surgical innovation.
  • Experience in orthopaedic clinical support, biomedical science/engineering, medical device experience, operating theatre nursing/registered nursing experience, physiotherapy or allied health with surgical exposure, human movement or anatomy specialists with clinical experience.
  • Confident in surgical/theatre settings, technically savvy with software and medical technology, excellent communicator who can build trust with surgeons and hospital teams, adaptable, detail-oriented, and able to perform under pressure.
