Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our Joint Replacement team as a Robotic Product Specialist.

This is a unique opportunity to support orthopaedic surgeons in the planning and execution of robotic-assisted hip and knee replacements using Mako system technology.

The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background and a passion for surgical innovation, with experience in fields such as orthopaedic clinical support, biomedical science/engineering, medical device experience, operating theatre nursing/registered nursing, physiotherapy or allied health with surgical exposure, human movement or anatomy specialists with clinical experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the in-theatre expert for Mako-assisted procedures, providing technical guidance to surgeons and theatre staff.
  • Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal use of the Mako robotic platform during joint replacement surgeries.
  • Conduct pre-operative CT-based planning and segmentation to assist in surgical case preparation.
  • Provide ongoing training and clinical support to hospital staff and surgical teams.
  • Travel across Sydney and surrounding areas to support multiple hospital sites.
