Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Services Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Assisting in daily food preparation and basic meal assembly.
  • Delivering, serving and collecting all patient food requirements and meal trays.
  • Assisting in general cleaning of kitchen equipment and utensils including dish and pot washing as required.
  • Acting as a valued member of an interdisciplinary team by promoting a professional and positive team culture.
  • Providing high standards of customer service.
Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene requirements.
  • A Food Handler Certificate or Certificate III in Hospitality.
  • Experience in hospitality (desirable).
  • Strong communication and customer skills.
  • The ability to work independently and in a team.
