Job Opportunity

A challenging and rewarding role exists for a recent Architecture graduate to join our team in Canberra.

We are seeking a key member of our studio who will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects and contribute to the development of innovative designs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct site surveys and measurements to ensure accurate design outcomes
  • Research and present material and finish options to enhance aesthetics and function
  • Collaborate with senior architects to develop design plans responding to client requirements
  • Create 3D visualisations and renderings to communicate design concepts effectively
  • Manage tasks to develop designs and planning concepts into clear and compelling graphic images and plans
  • Develop great team relationships across multiple business areas and locations, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment
  • Undertake internal training and work towards accreditation for your profession, supported by experienced mentors
  • Participate in client meetings, gather feedback, and present ideas effectively
  • Assist with technical drawings and understand the importance of precision in construction documentation
  • Stay current with design trends and research new materials and technologies
Requirements
  • Hold a Master's degree in Architecture
  • Have 1-2 years of experience working in a mid-sized architectural firm delivering commercial projects
  • Demonstrate passion for Architecture and quality design, with an excellent design aesthetic
  • Exhibit a proactive, results-driven mindset with a commitment to excellence and professionalism
  • Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Enjoy working in a collaborative team environment
  • Be enthusiastic and willing to learn a wide range of skills
  • Present a portfolio that aligns with our values and design approach
  • Be proficient in preparing concept plans, design, and construction documentation
  • Experience in Autodesk (Revit / Autocad), Sketchup, Microsoft office packages, and Adobe suits
