This is a rare opportunity to join our team as a Hub Leader, driving the day-to-day operations of a SHIELD Health Hub. As a seasoned professional, you will be responsible for working closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-level client and population group services, case management, and exceptional customer service.

The successful candidate will have a passion for delivering outstanding results, strong organisational skills, experience in business management, quality assurance systems, and continuous improvement. A proven track record of managing multidisciplinary teams and developing collaborative relationships with stakeholders will also be essential.

As a Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of healthcare, influencing behaviours that lead to a supportive culture that respects the perspectives, talents, and value of each individual. Consistent with our values, leadership philosophy, organisational reform agendas, and corporate business plans, your expectation will be to deliver on core responsibilities and meet any requirements of the position.

Job responsibilities for this role consist of, but are not limited to:

  • Develop and implement business strategies to deliver both population and patient-focused services.
  • Contribute to the design, implementation, and evaluation of workplace procedures, processes, and patient services.
  • Coordinate data collection and reporting to enable monitoring and evaluation.
  • Oversee daily SHIELD Hub operations, including resource prioritisation, scheduling, managing supply or medical equipment.
  • Lead a small team of administrative support staff to engage with clients and provide high-level client care.
  • Ensure patient records and IT systems are managed in line with set requirements.
  • Facilitate the administrative induction and training of new employees.
  • Work collaboratively and develop productive working relationships with other SHIELD Hub Leaders, program teams, and technical leads to support SHIELD objectives.

Essential Requirements include being an Australian Citizen, holding a Negative Vetting 1 (Secret) security clearance, having contemporary leadership experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build collaborative relationships with stakeholders.

Desirable Requirements include qualifications in Business or Health Management, previous experience leading a multidisciplinary team, and health and safety knowledge and/or background.
