Key responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining reliable, high-performing solutions that optimise operations, enhance data insights, and support critical business outcomes. You will collaborate closely with technology and operations teams to solve complex challenges, drive innovation, and ensure our platforms are secure, scalable, and future-ready.
- Design and develop integrated generation platform systems, including Aveva PI, cloud, IoT, and industrial data services.
- Configure, monitor, and support PI interfaces, adapters, and OPC connections to ensure seamless and reliable data flow.
- Provide technical leadership on system architecture, networking, and integration patterns, with a focus on performance, security, and compliance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration and network issues, implementing long-term, sustainable solutions.
Additionally, you will work collaboratively with business, operations, and technology teams to translate requirements into secure, high-performing solutions. This includes evaluating and implementing emerging technologies to drive improvements in integration, monitoring, and platform efficiency.
A strong background in technology or engineering is essential for this role, with specific expertise in Windows troubleshooting and support. Experience working with Aveva/OSIsoft PI environments, scripting languages such as PowerShell and Python, and proficiency in IoT technologies and integration patterns are also required.
DevOps experience working with AWS services, CI/CD practices, and cloud-based architectures is highly desirable. Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear messages for non-technical stakeholders, are crucial for success in this position.
