Administrative Assistant role at our logistics business.

Join a dynamic team and take on a vital part in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations with a strong focus on customer service, accuracy, and efficiency. This role plays a key part in providing timely, accurate, and professional support to both internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls promptly.
  • Respond to customer service emails and Salesforce enquiries efficiently.
  • Assist customers with depot collections, drop-offs, repacks, and damages effectively.
  • Investigate freight escalations and manage unidentified freight thoroughly.
  • Complete daily data entry tasks accurately.
  • Scan finance copies and close driver manifests as required.
  • Conduct internal audits and complete general administrative tasks proactively.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in administration, clerical support, or customer service (transport/logistics preferred).
  • Strong communication skills – written and verbal.
  • Good computer skills and confidence using internal systems.
  • A friendly, helpful attitude and a willingness to go the extra mile.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to multitask under pressure.
