Job Title: Information Security Specialist

Cyber security is a critical component of modern information and communication technology systems.

We are seeking an experienced Information Security Specialist to help shape and secure complex systems.

  • Lead and influence security components in solution design, working closely with architects and engineering teams.
  • Provide expert guidance on secure systems implementation, including design documents and patterns.
  • Evaluate and assure security documentation in line with Defence Cyber Security Assessment & Authorisation Framework.

Key Responsibilities:

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Leading the development of security architecture and design principles.
  • Providing technical guidance on secure systems implementation and integration.
  • Evaluating and assuring security documentation and compliance.

Requirements:

  • A strong understanding of secure-by-design and secure-by-default principles and application.
  • Practical experience with the Information Security Manual and ASD cloud security guidance.
  • Demonstrated expertise in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and associated certifications or experience.
  • Experience in DevSecOps systems development highly desirable.

Due to the nature of this environment, candidates must have a current NV1 or above clearance.
