We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Emergency Veterinarian Nurse to join our experienced team in a state-of-the-art facility. Our busy and well-established Emergency Centre provides high-quality emergency and critical care services to the community's beloved pets.
Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill and injured animals in our emergency department.
- Assist veterinarians with medical procedures, surgeries, and treatments.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and administer medications as prescribed.
- Perform diagnostic tests such as bloodwork, X-rays, and ultrasounds.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure all documentation is up-to-date.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners, providing updates on their pet's condition and treatment plan.
- Diploma or Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent).
- Minimum of 2 years' experience working as a veterinary nurse, preferably in an emergency or critical care setting.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of veterinary medical procedures.
- Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations.
