We are currently seeking highly skilled individuals to join our Board of Directors. As a member of our Board, you will play a critical role in shaping the direction of our organisation and ensuring that we remain true to our mission and values.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of corporate governance, finance, and digital marketing. They will also possess excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with others.
We are particularly interested in candidates who have a deep understanding of the cultural, political, economic, and social context of Pasifika people. However, we welcome applications from all qualified candidates.
As a member of our Board, you can expect to commit around 15-20 hours per month to our work. This may involve attending regular meetings, participating in committees and working groups, and contributing to key decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities- Exercise corporate governance duties in accordance with our Articles of Association and applicable laws;
- Provide strategic guidance on organisational direction and priorities;
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that support our mission and values;
- Engage with stakeholders and represent the interests of Greenpeace Australia Pacific; and
- Comply with all relevant laws and regulations.
