Chief Financial Officer Position Overview

\

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced financial leader to head our finance team.

\

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the finance functions, ensuring accurate reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and effective cash flow and investment management.

\

They will also ensure compliance with financial, tax, audit, and payroll obligations, supported by strong internal controls.

\

Additionally, they will oversee payroll operations, understanding employment legislation and modern awards.

\

Key responsibilities include driving finance transformation, including system upgrades and automation, reviewing contracts, supporting tender pricing, and overseeing client reporting.

\

Furthermore, they will manage outsourced IT provider relationships and ensure secure, scalable service delivery.

\

Other key aspects of the role include leading and developing high-performing teams, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement, and representing the organization in high-level negotiations and communications with external stakeholders.

\

Our ideal candidate will have a CA/CPA qualification, tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting or Business, and 7–10+ years' experience in senior finance leadership roles.

\

Preferred skills and qualifications include experience in recruitment, labour hire, or professional services, knowledge of payroll and information systems, experience in governance, compliance, and risk management, and exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

\
