Overview

The role of a Principal Consultant involves leading technical client engagements, driving high-level design, consulting, undertaking maturity assessments, and delivery for our Modern Workplace practice. This includes addressing clients' requirements of scalability, reliability, security, operations, and performance. The successful candidate will leverage solutions in the Modern Workplace space that include AVD, Intune, PowerApps, Purview, Teams & DSC and as much of the 365 suite as possible.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will lead technical client engagements to drive high-level design and deliver professional services leveraging solutions in the Modern Workplace space.
  • Undertake maturity assessments and delivery for our Modern Workplace practice to address clients' requirements of scalability, reliability, security, operations, and performance.
  • Develop Infrastructure as Code solutions for Azure Virtual Desktop engagements and Configuration as Code libraries surrounding M365 tenant standardisation – including Intune, SOE, and standardised configuration of various aspects of M365 deployment.
  • Work with the Solution Architecture team to develop new products and services that leverage the latest Microsoft 365 services and dependencies, providing technical governance and sign-off of projects and proposals.
  • Present to senior business and technology leaders, conduct workshops, and review architecture. Assist the presales team by providing expertise in this field.

Requirements

  • A deep and wide understanding of Modern Workplace tech including Microsoft Intune, AVD, PowerApps, Purview, Teams & DSC and as much of the 365 suite as possible.
  • Strong consulting acumen and the ability to design and present optimum business solutions to stakeholders.
  • Experience running workshops with key stakeholders, able to talk to technical and business heads with equal ease.
  • Experience with delivery management.
  • Certifications in Microsoft 365/MS 500 / MS101/ MS 365 Mobility/ AZ 900 preferred.
  • AGSVA security cleared at least NV1.
