Job Description

We are seeking an accomplished Principal Structural Engineer to join our national team. As a key player in delivering sustainable design solutions, you will play a vital role in driving the success of our projects.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in contributing to the technical delivery of building design projects, working across multi-discipline teams in various sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivery of structural design solutions on significant building projects;
  • Displaying autonomy, pro-activity, and a willingness to learn;
  • Providing mentoring and technical advice to team members;
  • Reviewing and ensuring compliance with project components, including drawings, reports, specifications, and studies;
  • Building and maintaining effective relationships with team members and clients.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Experience using ETABS, RAPT, and SPACEGASS design software;
  • At least 3+ years design consulting experience;
  • Understanding of commercial matters;
  • Ability to think creatively in an innovative and entrepreneurial manner;
  • Demonstrated experience as a strong team player, invested in projects and outcomes;
  • Recognized experience in delivery (or part delivery) of projects through all project phases;
  • Engineering degree, chartered status, or equivalent professional accreditation.
