We are seeking a diligent Seed Plant Technician to join our warehouse team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys operating machinery and working in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description:

The successful applicant will be responsible for the safe operation of seed treatment, coating, mixing and box packaging plants. They will also be involved in tasks such as handling, labelling, and bagging of product, as well as forklift driving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate machinery and equipment in a warehouse environment
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment
  • Handle and label products according to company procedures
  • Operate a forklift to transport goods around the warehouse

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in machine operation and general knowledge of plant maintenance/repairs
  • A current LF forklift license with up-to-date experience is essential
  • Previous seed handling experience is desirable but not essential
  • The ability to work with minimal supervision and in teams
  • A certain level of physical fitness due to the demands of the role
