Electrical Technician Specialist

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair faults on fixed plant equipment.
  • Perform high voltage switching and statutory testing.
  • Respond to breakdowns and support shutdowns.
  • Maintain and calibrate instrumentation and belt weighers.
  • Backup parameters on ABB, Siemens & WEG drives.
  • Keep accurate documentation, logbooks, and isolations.
  • Drive improvements to boost safety and efficiency.
Requirements
  • WA A-Grade Electrical Licence.
  • HV switching ticket and practical experience.
  • Strong fault-finding skills in continuous operations (iron ore experience highly regarded).
  • Knowledge of VSDs, PLCs, Profibus/Profinet/DeviceNet.
  • Ability to read and apply electrical schematics, isolation, and permitting.
  • Familiarity with SAP, Fiori, or other digital maintenance systems.
  • A collaborative approach and leadership capability.
