Electrical Instrumentation Technician Role

This is a unique opportunity to work as an Electrical Instrumentation Technician in the Pilgangoora Operation, one of the largest hard-rock lithium operations in the world.

The role reports directly to the Electrical & Instrumentation Supervisor and forms part of a well-established maintenance crew responsible for maintaining fixed plant electrical and instrument equipment. The primary objective is to ensure safe and reliable production of all fixed plant equipment.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out daily electrical and instrumentation maintenance activities according to standard work procedures as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Ensure all electrical work is completed in line with statutory regulations and recorded accordingly.
  • Troubleshoot electrical components and control systems to determine causes of failures and gather evidence for further analysis.
  • Perform mechanical checks on electrical equipment such as track in/out, interlocking etc.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require the following skills and qualifications:

  • WA 'A' Grade Electrical licence
  • Cert IV Electrical Instrumentation & High Voltage switching ticket
  • Current WA Driver's licence
  • Current EWP ticket, as well as CPR & LV Rescue
