Warehouse Operator Role

This role involves working in our warehouse facility. You will be responsible for various tasks, including band saw operation, overhead crane and forklift operation, picking, processing, and packing of steel, loading and unloading of vehicles, basic computer use, and maintaining a clean and tidy workplace.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Band Saw Operation: Safely operate a band saw to perform cutting tasks.
  • Overhead Crane/Forklift Operation: Operate an overhead crane and forklift to move heavy loads.
  • Picking, Processing & Packing of Steel: Pick, process, and pack steel products efficiently and accurately.
  • Loading/Unloading of Vehicles: Load and unload vehicles with steel products.
  • Basic Computer Use: Use basic computer skills to perform administrative tasks.
  • Maintaining a Clean & Tidy Workplace: Maintain a clean and tidy work environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Can-do Attitude: Demonstrate a positive attitude towards work and responsibilities.
  • Willingness to Learn: Show willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing situations.
  • Safety Protocols: Follow safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
  • Steel Handling Experience: Previous experience handling steel is beneficial but not essential.
  • Australian Work Rights: Must have the right to work in Australia.
