About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Credit Control Officer to join our team at Flexhive. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing the aged debt book, maintaining strong customer relationships, and ensuring timely reconciliation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the aged debt book across all regions to ensure timely payment
  • Maintain aged debt at appropriate levels to minimize defaults
  • Actively reduce the default rate through effective communication and negotiation
  • Contact customers by telephone and email to chase payments for invoices
  • Liaise with customers and third-party finance providers to provide excellent service
  • Monitor customer accounts and ensure timely reconciliation
  • Handle cash allocation and daily payment runs
  • Address internal and external queries in a professional and timely manner
About You
  • Proven experience in credit control or a similar role with a strong track record of success
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with customers
  • Confident in speaking on the phone and engaging with customers to resolve issues
  • Strong mathematical and computer skills with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects
  • A positive can-do attitude with a desire to learn and develop in a dynamic and innovative environment
