Job Title

We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Department Manager to join our team. As a key member of our supermarket's management, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of your department.

">Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and motivate a high-performing team to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth, improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Monitor and control stock levels, ensure accurate inventory management and minimize losses.
  • Manage rosters, schedules and staff performance, ensuring a seamless shopping experience for customers.
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve store goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to coach and train team members.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
  • Proficient in managing budgets, financial reports and forecasting.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of retail operations, including stock control, merchandising and visual displays.
