Public Health Nutritionist/Dietitian – Miwatj – Darwin/Nhulunbuy

Miwatj Health Aboriginal Corporation is seeking a skilled Public Health Nutritionist/Dietitian to join their team in Darwin or Nhulunbuy. As a key member of the multidisciplinary team, you will provide best practice clinical and culturally responsive dietetic services to priority groups in Miwatj communities.
Key Responsibilities- Provide dietetic services to clients with chronic disease, aged care, pediatrics, and NDIS needs
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure best practice clinical and social support for clients
- Lead the integration of Medical Dhäwu Dhäwu sessions into the dietetic service
- Develop and deliver public health nutrition activities and assist with projects
- Contribute to the development of culturally responsive nutrition education and training resources
- Tertiary qualification in nutrition and dietetics
- Current Accredited Practicing Dietitian (APD) status with Dietitians Australia (DA)
- Proven ability to work in a collaborative environment and engage with internal and external stakeholders
- High level written and oral communication skills
- Ability and willingness to travel regularly to communities in the Miwatj region
