Job Summary

A unique opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled professional to join our team as a water sports instructor on Moreton Island.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Main Responsibilities
  • Guiding tours: The successful candidate will be responsible for leading groups of tourists on various water sports activities such as snorkelling, kayaking and Segways.
  • Deckhand duties: As part of our team, you will be required to perform deckhand duties on multiple vessels, ensuring the smooth operation of our water sports equipment.
  • Safety briefings: You will provide essential safety briefings to guests before embarking on their adventures, ensuring they are aware of any potential hazards.
  • Customer service: Excellent customer service skills are essential for this role, as you will be interacting with guests in store, answering their queries and assisting with bookings.
  • Equipment management: You will be responsible for setting up and packing down stores and hire equipment, ensuring everything is in working order for the next day's activities.
Requirements
  • First aid certification: A current first aid certificate is mandatory for this position, along with CPR qualifications.
