Job Title: Expert Cloud Architect


Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.



Job Description:


The GreenLake Platform Cloud team at HPE is seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to design, build, and implement cutting-edge cloud-native architectures using Kubernetes, Docker, and related technologies. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with cross-functional groups to deliver innovative solutions that enable HPE's customers to succeed in today's complex digital landscape.



Responsibilities:



  • Frequently contribute to the development of new ideas and methods to improve cloud infrastructure and services.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud platforms.
  • Provide expert-level guidance and support to internal stakeholders on cloud architecture, migration, and security best practices.
  • Collaborate with external partners and vendors to stay up-to-date on emerging cloud technologies and trends.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of cloud architectures, including design patterns, implementation guides, and technical specifications.
  • Mentor junior team members and provide feedback to improve their skills and knowledge.
  • Participate in continuous learning and professional development to stay current with evolving cloud technologies and industry trends.


Requirements:


To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • Advanced knowledge of cloud computing concepts, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
  • Experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security principles, including identity and access management, data encryption, and network security.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing scalable, secure, and highly available cloud architectures.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
