  • About the Role:
  • This is a full-time position at our Hawthorn campus, providing support to the Director and team members in all aspects of the LivingLab's operations.
  • Key responsibilities include scheduling facility use, equipment operation, and user access, as well as conducting safety risk assessments and preparing safety documentation.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Equipment Management: The successful candidate will be responsible for procuring, operating, and maintaining a wide range of health, science, and engineering equipment.
  • Safety and Compliance: They will conduct safety risk assessments, prepare safety documentation, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Support and Collaboration: The Medical Equipment Technician will provide support for research and co-design activities in medical and assistive technologies, working closely with the Director and team members.

Requirements:

  • Education: A degree in a health-related discipline or significant equivalent industry experience.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Well-developed organisational, time management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
