Service Coordinator Role

This position is critical to the efficient and effective operation of the Service Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the scheduling of service and repair of healthcare equipment, ensuring timely resolution of urgent repairs and maintenance.

The role involves scheduling appointments with clients, invoicing service repairs, communicating changes in schedules, and liaising with a diverse range of people including individual clients, healthcare providers, and suppliers.

The ideal candidate will have excellent literacy and numeracy skills, previous experience in coordinating a department, and physical fitness for manual work. Maintenance skills or knowledge are advantageous but not essential.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Scheduling all technician service appointments with clients
  2. Invoicing service repairs to clients
  3. Communicating any changes in schedules to clients
  4. Liaising directly with a diverse range of people including individual clients, health care providers, and suppliers
  5. Monitoring repair requests and ensuring urgent repairs and maintenance are prioritised for timely resolution
  6. Supporting the showroom team with client enquiries and service-related product guidance
  7. Allocating and coordinating test and tags
  8. Effectively managing stock and spare parts
  9. Managing all service agreements to ensure consistent delivery of agreed-upon services
  10. Driving new opportunities for growth in the service area
