**Job Overview**

We are seeking a skilled Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join our team at the Customer Fulfilment Centre in Truganina, Victoria.

As an Equipment Maintenance Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our state-of-the-art, automated facility. Your primary responsibility will be to provide 1st response to engineering fault conditions, conduct proactive improvement works, and participate in planned maintenance activities.

This is a full-time position that requires flexibility due to our 24/7 operation. You will need to work various shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out planned maintenance across the site in a timely and safe manner, adhering to established procedures.
  • Update records of work activities, tasks performed, parts used, and training given.
  • Collaborate with manufacturers, suppliers, and internal departments to identify areas for improvement and increase machine reliability and performance.
  • Respond to and diagnose equipment breakdowns, resolving issues and initiating repairs.
  • Analyse data to find solutions to improve MHE performance, providing reports where necessary.
  • Conduct quality inspections to ensure work is completed to a safe standard.
  • Adhere to Health and Safety policies, including those set by regulatory standards, and seek guidance from the HS&E team when unsure.

Requirements:**

  • Some technical ability and understanding relating to automation hardware and software would be beneficial, but training can be provided.
  • A formal engineering or trade-related qualification is advantageous.
  • Demonstrable analytical skills with sound problem-solving ability.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, able to convey knowledge effectively to others.
  • Good organisation skills, able to prioritise tasks.
  • This role involves working at height using various access equipment, so you should be comfortable working at heights.
