We are seeking a skilled Investigations Professional to join our Security and Investigations Unit.

This role is critical in supporting sound judgement, confidentiality, maturity, and professionalism.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Identifying reported incidents requiring SIU involvement and further investigation.
  • Conducting background inquiries and initial investigations into allocated matters.
  • Aiding thorough investigations to conclusion and producing reports when required.
  • Identifying potential organised crime links and reporting them to the Head of Investigations.
  • Notifying police of required incidents and conducting simultaneous enquiries to protect our brand.
  • Taking comprehensive statements as requested by the Head of Investigations.
  • Assisting with employee probity processes under our Internal Control Manual (ICM), including pre-employment screening and ongoing Casino Special Employee License holder checks.
  • Liaising with key law enforcement agencies and personnel.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policies regarding Responsible Service of Gaming and the Responsible Gambling Code of Conduct.

To be successful, you will need:

  • Demonstrated experience in assisting with or conducting investigations in the integrated resort industry, law enforcement, military, or other relevant fields.
  • Strong research and analysis skills, problem-solving and decision-making abilities, and relationship-building skills.
  • Critical thinking, lateral thinking, and an enquiring mind.
  • Proven experience working in a fast-paced environment and managing competing demands.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to synthesize analyses, developing findings and recommendations supported by strong research.
  • Ability to structure and write investigative reports and other documents with supporting analyses presenting clear and concise findings and recommendations.
  • A degree in a relevant field (e.g., Intelligence qualification or relevant analytical training) is advantageous.
