The Role

Civil design engineers will work under the supervision of principal engineers on high-profile urban infrastructure and land development projects, drawing on their engineering design experience and providing career development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive civil engineering designs and drafting services to deliver innovative solutions.
  • Have excellent computer skills using multiple types of design software.
  • Work closely with engineers, government officials, and other staff members, utilizing strong verbal communication and critical thinking skills.
  • Be detail-oriented and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Project experience including land development, roads, and civil infrastructure is highly valued. Strong design capabilities and knowledge of Australian Standards and Codes are also essential. Additionally, the ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks is crucial.

Benefits:

Experience working in local government and familiarity with AutoCAD are considered valuable assets. Formal training in AutoCAD is also desirable.
