About the Position

The Gym and Fitness Coordinator will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our club.

This individual will leverage their exceptional leadership skills, financial acumen, analytical capabilities, and management expertise to oversee all aspects of gym and fitness operations.

  • Manage sales budgets and analyze results to inform proactive strategies for improvement
  • Lead the delivery of outstanding member experiences and the effective resolution of member concerns
  • Coordinate daily gym operations, including assisting reception services and administration
  • Drive membership lead generation, sales, and retention efforts
  • Provide exceptional customer service and build relationships with members
  • Ensure the facility is clean, safe, and operating efficiently
  • Support personal trainers in delivering high-quality services
  • Promote the club within the local community through outreach and marketing initiatives

This hands-on role requires being an integral part of the team when delivering inspiring group training sessions.

Requirements

- Certificate IV in Fitness (minimum)

- Current CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain

- Strong sales acumen with a proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets

- Excellent leadership and team management skills

- Proficiency in CRM and gym management software, along with standard office tools

- Knowledge of fitness industry trends and customer preferences

- Outgoing and friendly personality

- A positive role model, collaborative, and team-oriented

- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
