Automotive Apprentice

We are seeking highly motivated individuals to join our team as apprentices in the automotive manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Vehicle Body Manufacture
  • Recovering of seats, carpets, headlining, door trims and associated trim panels within a motor vehicle
  • Vehicle Building / Vehicle Fabricating
  • Fitting Bodies
  • Welding
  • Drilling
  • Grinding
  • Sanding
  • Sealing and Gluing
  • Fitting - Doors, Windows, Locks, Wheels, Towbars, Lights
  • Wiring and Soldering
  • Fibreglass Repairs and Fabricating

Requirements:

  • Good eye-hand coordination
  • Good attention to detail
  • Good communication skills
  • Good perception of colours

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Attend TAFE and complete Certificate III in Automotive
