About the Position

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as an Electrolyser Manufacturing Specialist.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in materials science, chemistry or a related field and experience in manufacturing, device assembly and testing.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manufacturing electrodes and membranes for electrolysers;
  • Quality control of raw materials, components and prepared materials;
  • Performing solution sampling and chemical analysis;
  • Tracking and organising materials and components to ensure efficiency;
  • Assembling and testing electrolyser devices with high attention to detail;
  • Using test results and data to implement improvements where relevant;
  • Communicating well and working with a broader team to problem solve various aspects of the electrolyser development and scale-up;
  • Maintaining laboratory conditions to ensure they are orderly and safe.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • A relevant qualification in Chemistry, Mechanical, Electrical or similar field;
  • 2+ years of experience in a materials/chemistry laboratory setting or manufacturing, device assembly and testing;
  • Motivated, capable of working independently within a multi-disciplinary environment, and able to solve commonly encountered problems;
  • Good interpersonal skills with clear and open communication;
  • Organisational and data management skills;
  • Ability to adapt within a highly dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
