Job Overview:

Fund Accountant Role

We are seeking an experienced Fund Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality financial reporting and administration services to our clients.

The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, with a qualification in accounting (e.g. CPA, ACCA). They will also have prior knowledge or experience of working in financial services, particularly with alternative investment funds.

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing periodic Net Asset Value calculations and year-end financial statements, managing the audit process, and reviewing other fund-related reports. You will also handle fund accounts and prepare periodic reports and regulatory reports for fund entities.

You will work closely with senior officers and managers to ensure quality work is delivered to clients. This will involve supporting the setup of new funds, liaising with independent tax specialists, lawyers, and notaries as required.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing periodic Net Asset Value calculations and year-end financial statements
  • Managing the audit process and reviewing other fund-related reports
  • Handling fund accounts and preparing periodic reports and regulatory reports for fund entities
  • Supporting senior officers and managers with the initial setup of new funds
