Fund Accounting Manager Position

Overview:

This role offers a unique blend of financial expertise and flexibility, with a hybrid schedule that balances in-office time with remote work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare comprehensive financial reports and profit allocation statements, incorporating NAV calculations to meet client deadlines.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding monthly reporting and inquiries, providing timely and accurate information.
  • Support team members with various tasks, including coordinating with external stakeholders and ensuring seamless project execution.
  • Maintain strict adherence to internal and external procedures, upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
  • Contribute to the onboarding process for new clients and the launch of new funds, leveraging your expertise to drive success.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve accounting workflows to enhance efficiency and productivity in NAV production.
  • Ensure all internal reporting requirements are met, providing transparency and accountability throughout the organization.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics, with a strong foundation in financial principles and practices.
  • Professional certifications such as CPA or CMA are highly valued, although not mandatory.
  • A minimum of 5 years of fund accounting experience, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Extensive knowledge of financial services, particularly within the hedge fund, private equity, or investment firm sectors.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with experience managing teams effectively and driving business growth.
