Fund Accounting Executive Position

The successful candidate will oversee a wide range of financial, accounting, and business development responsibilities for our Fund Administration business.

  • Manage fund relationships, including accounting and transfer agent functions, and serve as the primary point of contact with client representatives.
  • Coordinate workflow between clients and internal staff to produce daily and monthly accounting reports for assigned funds in accordance with client requirements.
  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction by facilitating efforts of the servicing team, coordinating resources to ensure timely delivery and issue resolution, and effectively communicating client needs and concerns to internal managers and teams.
  • Regularly review compliance and regulatory filings to ensure adherence to relevant standards.
  • Communicate with auditors to resolve accounting inquiries and prepare draft audited financial statements in accordance with IFRS and IAS or US GAAP as necessary.
  • Support the tax team by providing information for tax compliance and reporting purposes as needed.
  • Assist assigned clients and investors in utilizing NAV's web reporting platform for analytical reports, including breakout and portfolio data to meet specific user expectations.
  • Develop strong working relationships with client contacts by anticipating their needs and providing solutions through a consultative approach.
  • Identify new business opportunities through communication with warm leads, coordination of presentations, demonstration of web portal and proprietary systems, development of proposals, negotiation of service agreements, closure of sales, and smooth delivery of new services.
  • Promote awareness of the Company's brand by establishing and maintaining a robust network of intermediary relationships with influencers and other referral sources.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and their potential impact on the Company and clients.

Key Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in fund accounting, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations, including IFRS and US GAAP.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
