About the Energy Advisory Role

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Energy & Carbon Advisory team. With extensive experience in energy markets, consulting, and deal execution, this individual will drive key client engagements and spearhead business development efforts in the energy sector.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering projects that make a tangible impact on clients' growth and the region's decarbonisation trajectories. This role offers an exciting opportunity to leverage deal execution expertise, driving strategic business development and client service delivery in the energy space.

Responsibilities
  • Strategic Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the energy sector, leveraging relationships with existing clients and networks.
  • Client Service Delivery: Oversee the delivery of projects that meet clients' expectations, ensuring high-quality outcomes and fostering long-term partnerships.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop a team of professionals, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure they reach their full potential.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 8+ years of relevant energy markets, consulting, and deal experience.
  • A good understanding of the National Electricity Market (NEM).
  • Experience advising on PPA's and other offtake agreements.
  • Qualifications in environmental, finance, engineering, business, economics, or related fields.
  • Proven track record of analytical thinking and success in a competitive environment.
