Job Summary

We're evolving our technology stack to a modern MERN architecture and adopting a serverless approach with GraphQL for API integration. We're seeking an experienced Backend Developer to join our team and shape the future of fitness club management solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop server-side applications using Node.js and Express.
  • Manage databases using MongoDB Atlas and implement serverless functions for scalability and performance.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  • Build and maintain GraphQL APIs for efficient data retrieval and manipulation.
  • Ensure the security, performance, and reliability of the back-end systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive continuous improvement.
  • Work in an agile environment, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Backend Developer or similar role.
  • AWS knowledge is an added advantage.
  • Strong proficiency in Node.js and Express.
  • Experience with MongoDB Atlas and database design.
  • Familiarity with serverless architectures and services.
  • Proficiency in building and consuming GraphQL APIs.
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs and integration with front-end components.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
