Job Overview

This is a fixed term, full-time position that commences ASAP and concludes on 31 December 2026.

The Role:

Key requirements include cultural organisational knowledge in planning and coordinating activities with Ranger Groups, community groups, and school curriculum teams to develop school-based Two-way Science programs. Additionally, you will be responsible for identifying challenges in the initiative's delivery, providing expert advice and guidance, and overseeing risk management to ensure safe and effective program implementation.

A deep understanding of Kimberley Aboriginal communities and the ability to build effective working relationships with Aboriginal school communities and other key stakeholders is essential. You will work collaboratively with curriculum team members within the Kimberley Regional Education Office and Statewide Services to deliver professional learning in partnership with local and regional Aboriginal organisations. This is aimed at supporting schools in embedding culturally responsive practices and contributing to the development of learning programs.
