Job Opportunity: Laundry Assistant

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Laundry Assistant at Catholic Healthcare.

About the Role:

  • Provide high quality laundry services for residents within our residential aged care home, ensuring their belongings are clean and presentable.
  • Support your peers and maintain a cooperative team spirit.
  • Work in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues and residents, closely following all policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collecting and washing personal clothing
  • Folding and sorting
  • Distributing personal items back to resident rooms

Requirements:

  • A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high quality care to the elderly
  • Comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people
  • A reliable team player
  • Understanding of workplace health and safety
  • Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance
