This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Laundry Assistant at Catholic Healthcare.
About the Role:
- Provide high quality laundry services for residents within our residential aged care home, ensuring their belongings are clean and presentable.
- Support your peers and maintain a cooperative team spirit.
- Work in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues and residents, closely following all policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collecting and washing personal clothing
- Folding and sorting
- Distributing personal items back to resident rooms
Requirements:
- A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high quality care to the elderly
- Comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people
- A reliable team player
- Understanding of workplace health and safety
- Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance
