Job Title: Sustainability Coordinator

The Opportunity

As a Sustainability Coordinator, you will provide technical advice, undertake sustainability assessments, and participate in multi-disciplinary teams across major water projects nationally. You will work with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability data and reporting requirements, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in the development and implementation of Stakeholder Engagement Strategy.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability data and reporting requirements.
  • Participate in sustainability programs such as Workforce Culture & Wellbeing Plan and Diversity Equity & Inclusion Plan working groups.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in development and implementation of Stakeholder Engagement Strategy.
  • Work with other departments to align waste management initiatives with project priorities.
  • Develop and maintain key relationships with other project functions and support the communication of sustainability matters to management and project staff.
Requirements:
  • Proven industry experience in sustainability from a building services, mechanical/electrical engineering, transport, water, construction, or infrastructure background.
  • Delivery-focused, climate change literate, and familiar with environmental regulations and Green Star or Infrastructure Sustainability Council (ISC) sustainability rating tools.
