About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Water Planning Engineer to join our NSW ACT Water Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning and developing water and wastewater solutions for network systems and pumping stations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and develop water and wastewater solutions for network systems and pumping stations
  • Prepare project proposals, engineering/planning reports, and cost estimates
  • Manage and coordinate projects from conception to completion
  • Conduct site evaluations and feasibility studies
  • Provide technical support to clients and team members
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to water and wastewater systems

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in water and wastewater engineering
  • Strong knowledge of water and wastewater planning
  • Experience in projects coordination
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other design software
