About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Water Planner to join our Sydney team, working on innovative projects across growth servicing, strategic planning for water, wastewater, and recycled water networks.

As part of our team of industry leaders, you will collaborate with top specialists across Australia and globally, gaining exposure to complex, large-scale projects that will enhance your professional profile and carve a meaningful career pathway.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality and timely valued water network planning solutions that are focused on flexibility, sustainability, optimisation, integration, whole-of-lifecycle cost and acceptable risk.
  • Utilise your creativity, foresight and mature judgment in anticipating and solving both routine and unusual project delivery, technical and client challenges.
  • Provide technical direction, mentor and train our junior professionals, fostering the growth and development of the team.
  • Contribute to business development activities including client engagement, proposal preparation and bid management.
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications.
  • Demonstrated network planning experience that demonstrates the development and evaluation of options and proficient in hydraulic network modelling of water and/or wastewater systems.
  • An understanding of current and potential future policy, practice, trends, technology, and information affecting water planning.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to quickly build rapport and communicate with various stakeholders.
  • Appreciation of clients within the water and other water-related markets.
  • Experience or an interest in project management.
