Job SummaryWe are seeking experienced Insulators for exciting upcoming projects in Darwin, Northern Territory. This opportunity allows you to join a dynamic team and contribute to high-profile projects in the region.
Main Responsibilities:- Temperature Control Specialist: Installing and maintaining insulation materials on pipes, vessels, and equipment to prevent energy loss.
- Measuring and cutting insulation materials according to specifications.
- Applying weatherproofing and protective coatings to insulated surfaces.
- Ensuring all work meets industry standards and project requirements.
- Maintaining insulation tools and equipment for safety and efficiency.
- Collaborating with team members to achieve project goals efficiently and safely.
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Relevant experience in insulation at various levels.
- Previous experience within the mining & resources industry or similar sectors.
- A strong understanding of safety practices and procedures in the insulation industry.
- Effective communication skills to work collaboratively with colleagues and supervisors.
- A current Working at Heights and Confined Space certification (less than 2 years old).
- A nationally accredited OHS Card (White/Blue Card).
As an Insulator with Altrad Services, you can expect:
- A competitive hourly rate of $42.95-$57.25 (dependent on qualification/experience and project specifics).
- A standard working week of 40-60 hours, with additional penalty rates for overtime, weekend, and public holiday work.
