Payroll Specialist

Deliver high-quality payroll services while providing valuable support across a broad range of HR functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process payroll within agreed timeframes, ensuring high accuracy and compliance with relevant legislation, industrial instruments, and policies.
  • Maintain personnel and payroll records in line with legislative requirements.
  • Provide timely and accurate payroll advice to managers and employees, responding promptly to queries.
  • Support reporting requirements, both scheduled and ad hoc, to ensure seamless financial operations.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to build effective relationships and foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to enhance payroll efficiency and productivity.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience using Human Resources Information Systems (HRMIS) for payroll processing.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant acts, awards, agreements, regulations, and policies, with the ability to interpret and apply them effectively.
  • The ability to prioritize, organize, and complete tasks with minimal supervision, while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to build strong relationships with colleagues, managers, and external partners.
