Digital Infrastructure Specialist

This pivotal role involves shaping the digital infrastructure of a national-scale project focused on tackling one of the most pressing global challenges—the energy transition.
As an Engineering Lead, you will be responsible for leading architecture, design and development, collaborating with internal teams and external partners, and driving innovation in energy data platforms.
Key Responsibilities- Drive engineering team growth as the project scales
- Deliver impactful and world-leading products that meet stakeholder expectations
You will play a key role in shaping the vision and drive planning, design, and implementation of the project's digital infrastructure. This hands-on leadership position requires you to build prototypes, guide scalable production systems, and steer the overall build of the project in collaboration with internal teams, external contractors, and development partners.
Your Key Strengths- Proven leadership experience in software development, including engineering leadership or senior engineering roles delivering complex platform projects
- Full-stack development skills with the ability to be hands-on where required, especially in early prototyping and exploration of features
- Experience designing and implementing scalable data platforms, APIs, and cloud-based systems to a level of commercial product quality and robustness
