**Clinical Specialist - Falls Prevention Management

Job Summary:

This role will lead and develop the clinical management of falls prevention and management within a healthcare setting. The position will coordinate and support a multi-faceted approach to preventing patient harm, with a focus on evidence-informed practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and evaluate education and quality improvement initiatives to increase the capability and capacity of the clinical workforce.
  • Collaborate with existing clinical teams and governance frameworks to optimise patient outcomes.
  • Lead and develop clinical management of falls prevention and management through coordination and support of a multi-faceted approach.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Allied Health Practitioner/Registered Nurse with current registration or equivalent for non-registered Allied Health professions.
  • Advanced clinical knowledge and skills in falls assessment, prevention, and management.
  • Post-graduate qualifications (or working towards) in allied health, nursing, or a relevant field.
