Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Sensing and Artificial Intelligence

We are seeking a talented Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Sensing and Artificial Intelligence to help shape the future of ecological and biodiversity monitoring.

The successful candidate will conduct independent research using advanced sensors and artificial intelligence technology to assess ecological health and species dynamics. This work will directly inform sustainable environmental and agricultural practices.

  • Evaluate and integrate sensor arrays for species identification and ecological health monitoring.
  • Fuse sensory data with complementary datasets to assess population dynamics.
  • Conduct both fundamental and applied research in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Contribute to high-quality publications, technical reports, and stakeholder briefings.
  • Engage in multidisciplinary collaborations with researchers and industry partners.

This is a full-time opportunity for two years based at our Werrington South campus.
